Maggie & Maya Do... A Walk Down Memory Lane ~

This is just a little video of us from the time we moved to Japan until now. We actually didn't have a lot of footage and only recently started filming videos but we just wanted to make a little background video...

To Sum It Up

There's a story... (my head twinkles with the Brady Bunch theme but cannot think of matching words to the tune *fail*)

Ok so Maya made this earlier this year but it pretty much sums up our life in Japan...

No kidding - we do get questions from our friends/family/strangers about what we do - so here it is!

Cheerios!

Maggie and Maya Do... Seoul ~ in pictures

Night time shopping in Hongdae the University District. Many clubs, restaurants and shops. Amazing nightlife
At Meongdong Shopping District. This place was the equivalent of Shibuya, Tokyo, or Pitt St Mall on crack. There were so many beauty shops, cafe, and stalls it was crazy
I want to learn how to read Hangul!
My favorite Korean food is Sundubu, so Jinjin took us to Meongdong Sundubu restaurant
Korean BBQ ~ this place was so smokey and tiny but incredibly delicious!!
Shots Shots Shots! The last Friday of every month is a massive clubbing night in Seoul. Everyone loves shuffling, it was kinda weird lol~ Shogun poured us Jager shots!

On the bus from the airport to Seoul City
My lovely friend Mel (right) who took us clubbing to Hotel Ellui. Great for those who love electro

Parade at the International Airport representing the royal family

Korean Haul

Maggie and I recently went to Seoul, Korea to visit friends, eat food and enjoy the sights. Those were our original intentions, but we also ended up discovering Korean beauty and skincare brands and went a little nuts!!

Our first day in Seoul!

L~R: Etude House, Holika Holika and The Face Shop
Maggie found shiny shoes in Hongdae

Similarly to Japan, Korean beauty and skin care products are adorably packaged which makes them even more appealing. Meongdong city is mecca for cosmetic junkies like ourselves and while we were walking past rows and rows of shops, the shop staff would call out to us in Japanese asking us to come in. Each time we would be given a small basket with a free sample inside of either cream, a face pack or cotton pads. Half the time we would just walk in just to get the free sample lol ~

Day 1: Face packs and serum from Nature Republic and lip creme from Holika Holika
